1.Uneven ink color

There may be some phenomenon of periodic ink color changes on the printings

Solution:Trouble shooting methods include correcting the roundness of the printing plate cylinder, adjusting the angle and pressure of the ink scraper, or replacing the ink scraper with a new one.

2.Imprint hair paste and fuzz

The phenomenon of layered and blurred printed images, with burrs appearing on the edges of graphics and text.

Solution: The elimination methods include removing static electricity from the surface of the substrate, adding polar solvents to the ink, appropriately increasing the printing pressure, and adjusting the position of the ink scraper.

3.Blocking plate

The phenomenon of ink drying up in the mesh holes of the printing plate, or the mesh holes of the printing plate being filled with some wool or powder, is called blocking.

Solution:The elimination methods include increasing the solvent content in the ink, reducing the drying speed of the ink, and using with printed materials with high surface strength for printing.

4.Ink overflow

The phenomenon of spots appearing on the physical parts of printed materials.

Solution:The elimination method is to add a hard inking oil to improve the viscosity of the ink. Adjust the angle of the ink scraper, improve the printing speed, and replace the deep screen hole printing plate with the shallow screen hole printing plate.

5.Scratches

Soulution: The elimination method is to use clean ink without foreign matter mixing for printing. Adjust the viscosity, dryness, and adhesion of the ink. Use a high-quality ink scraper to adjust the angle between the ink scraper and the printing plate.

6.Pigment precipitation

The phenomenon of lightening the color of printed matter.

Solution: The elimination methods is using ink with good dispersion and stable performance for printing. Add anti agglomeration and anti precipitation additives to the ink. Fully roll and frequently stir the ink in the ink tank.

7.Mucilaginous dirt

The phenomenon of ink stains on printed matter.

Solution: The elimination methods is selecting printing ink with fast volatilization speed, increasing the drying temperature, or appropriately reducing the printing speed.

8.Ink peeling

The ink printed on the plastic film has poor adhesion and is rubbed off by hand or mechanical force.

Solution: The elimination methods include preventing the plastic film from getting wet, selecting ink printing with good affinity to the plastic film, and conducting surface treatment on the plastic film again to improve the surface tension.
